In my own development as a teacher educator in general and as a teacher of research methods in particular, I am often called on to mentor students, both undergraduate and graduate, in choosing not only a research topic but also on the process of formulating research questions. In looking for relevant literature to help me in this mentoring process, I have more often than not come up short.
